Behind SLOMI is no big company, but a family of four with a big idea: stories that children can listen to, read along with, and help shape through their choices.
Four people. Four flowers.
S, L, O and M are the first letters of our names. And the I? To make it sound extra cute!
The four flowers on SLOMI’s head are part of our story too: each one represents one of us.
How it all began
When Linda was eleven, she wrote “Der Planet ohne Strom” (“The Planet Without Power”). Recently, we came across the story again. It gave Steve the idea for an interactive audiobook app for children – and an old school story became the beginning of SLOMI.
Our passion project
Today, we are bringing our passion project to life together. Our stories are lovingly created, reviewed, and refined. Mattheo listens to them as our young tester and contributes ideas of his own.
